What about the Goldfarb Center and its activities interested you in seeking an active role in a leadership position?

Goldfarb Center provides a myriad of influential and insightful opportunities to engage with Colby and local communities. I am looking forward to creating an atmosphere of inspiring and being inspired at Colby through my works in a leadership position.

Do you have any specific goals or ideas you’d like to see implemented?

As an international student on campus, I would like to bring international voices and perspectives into GSEC to provide a holistic approach for every individual on campus to create positive impacts.

What do you think is the most interesting thing happening right now in public affairs?

The dynamics of interaction and evolution of diversity amid in public affairs are interesting to see. There are more younger people involve and engage with public affairs which have brought some cool perspectives in politics. Diverse opinions provide us an array of opportunities to explore the community and celebrate the differences.

Why do you think it is important for Colby students and the broader community to care about public affairs?

This nation belongs to us (every individual). We care about public affairs because we want to create a better community. The effective approach to engage with public affairs allows us to act as a monitor position to balance the government’s power and create.
