Why are you engaged with the Goldfarb Center?

I am engaged with the Goldfarb Center because it has become a transformative platform for me thanks to its engagement with the Colby student body and opportunities to cultivate my interest in foreign affairs. 

What does leadership mean to you as someone on the Goldfarb Student Executive Board?

Leadership means actively engaging with my peers and faculty to drive impactful initiatives that empower students to become informed and involved citizens. It means fostering a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and together, we work towards addressing pressing societal issues with creativity, compassion, and a commitment to positive change. 

What do you think is the most interesting thing happening right now in public affairs?

I closely monitor the ongoing conversations between Ukraine and Moldova within the context of the European Union. While acknowledging the adverse impact of Russian aggression on countless lives, it is remarkable to witness how this shared adversity has forged a stronger bond between Ukraine and Moldova, propelling them into the forefront of the international arena’s discussion table.

Looking ahead, what are you most excited about for this coming year?

Looking ahead, I am filled with anticipation and enthusiasm as I prepare to join the Student Executive Board. Collaborating with an exceptional group of passionate and dedicated individuals, my goal is to bridge the gap between Colby College and the world, fostering a deeper understanding of global issues and cultivating a more interconnected campus community.
